Spring 2025 Haute Couture: Zuhair Murad's Tropical Escape

Lebanese couturier Zuhair Murad dreamed of tropical islands and produced a collection full of colours and rich floral and foliage appliques including Palm fronds, frangipane and hibiscus shapes.

Eschewing large ballgowns, his silhouettes were generally slimmer than usual, with the designer incorporating a few tulip-shaped skirts that added a youthful note to the glamorous collection. Hints of the 1960s weave through the collection, alongside fleeting echoes of Hollywood’s golden age, infusing the designs with a nostalgic yet timeless charm.
