Fall 2021 Haute Couture: Dior's Ode to Tweed

For Fall 2021, Maria Grazia Chiuri found inspiration in Clare Hunter’s book “Threads of Life: A History of the World Through the Eye of the Needle,” as well as a 1963 Dior collection by Marc Bohan reaturing tweet.

Her collection, shown against monumental embroidered panels, spoke to the power of the thread and hand woven fabrics.
