Spring 2024 Haute Couture: Cheney Chan Couture

Chinese designer Cheney Chan founded his eponymous brand in 2012. His beautiful creations often incorporates classical Chinese elements concepts without being too literal in their interpretations.

 For his new capsule collection, titled “Serene Elegance,” the designer looked at traditional Chinese porcelain craftsmanship, such as pulling, shaping and repairing the clay, and translated the process into sculptural forms gracefully enveloping silhouette. 

Each piece of clothing is sculpted with tightly layered silk and meticulous attention to details such as the edges and folds of the clothing.
