Hublot and Daniel Arsham Blur Time and Form
With the MP-17 Meca-10 Arsham Splash Titanium Sapphire, a wristwatch that pushes the boundaries of what a watch may be, Hublot continues its collaboration with American artist Daniel Arsham.
Despite its unusual look, the watch still has all of Hublot's distinguishing features, like the titanium folding clasp, six H-screws, and unique lugs. However, under Arsham's artistic leadership, these well-known components acquire new significance.
Drawing inspiration from organic geometry and flowing water, the new watch reimagines the watch casing as an artistic creation, building on the success of the transformable MP-16 Arsham Droplet. The 42mm case's flowing curves and distinctive splash-shaped dial opening are a reflection of Arsham's creative obsession with blurring the lines between the past, present, and future.
