Graff Diamonds at the Biennale des Antiquaires

Graff Diamonds, which last exhibited at the Biennale des Antiquaires in 2002, has unveiled two of the haute joaillerie pieces it will take to the celebrated Parisian fair this year: a sapphire and diamond necklace and an emerald and diamond tassel necklace, both of which come with matching earrings. The dramatic sapphire necklace uses richly colored grape-like clusters of sapphire beads entwined with pavé diamond leaves and stems, with a further 12 emerald cut sapphires meticulously set into the necklace. The accompanying earrings feature a single emerald cut sapphire surrounded by three delicate pavé diamond leaves and sapphire beads.

Meanwhile, the emerald and briolette beaded tassel recalls the splendors of the Maharajah. The tassel pours from an intricate central element, set with an arresting cushion cut emerald.

The 26th edition of the Biennale will take place at the Grand Palais September 11 to 21 with about 81 exhibitors showcasing their wares, and though the overall number of exhibitors is down, the number of haute joaillerie exhibitors is increasing this year to fourteen, with newcomers Alexandre Reza, David Morris, and Giampiero Bodino joining Wallace Chan, Boucheron, Bulgari, Cartier, Chanel, Chaumet, Christian Dior, Piaget, Siegelson, and Van Cleef & Arpels.

To impress visitors, Graff Diamonds is going all out with the design of its stand. It will feature boldly striped marble floors, walnut wall paneling and bronze showcases, and a visually arresting gold engraved glass wall which forms the centerpiece to the stand.
