Rami Kadi celebrated in style his Maison’s 10-year anniversary with RETROSPECTIVE 10, a presentation at Walk of Cairo in Egypt.

The collection brought to life a decade of success with a retrospective of iconic designs such as a black lurex velvet gown from the SS’19 couture collection worn by top model Kendall Jenner at the Vanity Fair Oscars party, along with seven new exclusive creations designed for the occasion.

After graduating form Esmod in Paris in 2008. Kadi was the Starch Foundation to showcase his first collection. Three years later, the 25-year designer was launching his eponymous couture studio in his native Beirut.

The designer, who is presenting during Paris Couture Week since 2018, is known for his experimentation with fabric technology and his commitment to sustainability - he once created a dress made entirely out of plastic recovered from the ocean. He likes to combine intricate embroidery and handcrafting techniques, with contemporary embellishments.
